For those traveling from out of town:

  • Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the closest major airport. Pittsburgh International Airport is about 20 miles from Carnegie Mellon. You can rent a car, catch the 28X Airport Flyer bus, which runs approximately every 30 minutes from the airport.
  • CMU is accessible via public transit, rideshare, or shuttle services.
    We recommend booking accommodations near Oakland or Shadyside, which are both walkable to campus.
